Description

The heart-shaped pendant set with numerous old European-cut diamonds weighing approximately 7.50 carats, mounted in gold and platinum, supported on a fancy-link platinum chain set at intervals with old European-cut diamonds, length 19½ inches, chain numbered 875.

Condition

The diamonds on the heart pendant are approximately I-J color and VS-I clarity. The chain's diamonds are approximately I-J color and predominantly SI clarity. The pieces are of slightly different eras: the necklace dates circa 1910, the pendant dates circa 1920. The pendant is detachable and shows evidence that it was at one time a brooch as well. In good condition.
