Description
The hinged bangle of textured gold modeled in high relief with the head and outstretched wings of an owl, the eyes set with oval cabochon cat's-eyes measuring approximately 11.4 by 10.7 mm. and 12.6 by 9.7 mm., encircled by clusters of old-mine diamonds weighing a total of approximately 2.95 carats, gross weight approximately 93 dwts.
Condition
Interior circumference is 6 5/8 inches. Diamonds are approximately I-K color and SI-I clarity. Nice engraving detail to the head and wings and in good condition. Hinged at one side and fitted with a safety closure. The color of the gold is lighter than that indicated by the catalogue illustration.
