Description

Alternately set in collets with 7 oval cabochon rubies and 7 oval cabochon sapphires spaced by 15 old-mine diamonds weighing approximately 2.25 carats, mounted in gold and platinum, length 7 inches. 

Condition

The rubies weigh approximately 8.00 carats and the sapphires approximately 10.00 carats. The colored stones vary from medium light shades of blue and pink to deeper shades of blue and red. Most are translucent, a few are opaque. The diamonds are approximately H-K color (some with a light brown tint) and VS-I clarity. Fitted with a safety chain.
