Emerald, diamond and cultured pearl necklace and matching earclips, Giovane

The double-strand necklace composed of 84 cultured pearls measuring approximately 8.5 to 8.9 mm., the clasp designed as a large flowerhead centering a cluster of oval cabochon emeralds, the petals pavé-set with round diamonds weighing approximately 8.65 carats; the earclips designed as similar flowerheads centering clusters of cabochon emeralds, the petals pavé-set with round diamonds weighing approximately 5.60 carats, mounted in 18 karat gold, signed Giovane, Italy, the necklace clasp detaches to be worn as a brooch. 

The emeralds are a medium very slightly bluish green and are translucent. Most stones exhibit surface-reaching inclusions. The diamonds are approximately G-H color and VVS-VS clarity. The pearls are a creamy rose shade, with good luster and minor blemishing. All pieces in good condition and signed Giovane. Length of necklace approximately 16 inches.
