Description
All of 18 karat textured gold, the animals comprising a lion, a tiger, a hippo, a giraffe, a fox, a pair of owls and a cat, set with eyes of emeralds or rubies, several also accented with round diamonds, the hinged bangle designed as a coiling serpent with cabochon ruby eyes, the tail pavé-set with round diamonds weighing approximately 2.10 carats.
Condition
The SNAKE BANGLE in very good condition. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. The wearer should take care when placing the bracelet on one's wrist; the springed hinge can pinch the flesh if put on hastily. Gross weight approximately 93.5 dwts. The ANIMAL BROOCHES are in good overall condition; some bearing minor discoloration. The diamonds are approximately G-H color, VS clarity. The rubies are medium to medium deep red and of good clarity. The emeralds are medium-light green. The giraffe, tiger, lion, hippo, and cat bear the same, unrecognized maker's mark, possibly a C or G within a C. The owl is dated 1970. Gross weight of all 7 brooches approximately 100 dwts.
