Description

The first a jabot pin designed as an arrow, set with a modified triangular segment of onyx as well as with old European-cut and single-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum, signed Cartier, numbered 1442 and 1535; the second a bow set with 2 triangular segments of onyx carved to resemble fabric, the center and borders set with small single-cut diamonds, mounted in platinum, signed Cartier.

Condition

The bow brooch is set with diamonds that are approximately H-I color and VS clarity and the onyx is intact. Signed Cartier and indistinctly numbered 20?8. The jabot is of similar quality, with one small chip to the onyx at a corner. Signed Cartier on the arrox point. Both pieces are in good condition overall.
