The necklace centering a cushion-shaped emerald set atop a disc of conforming shape pavé-set with 46 round diamonds weighing approximately 2.75 carats, completed by a flexible gold band of 14 karat gold, length approximately 18 inches, the earclips centering 2 pear-shaped emeralds weighing approximately 2.35 carats, within panels of 64 pavé-set diamonds weighing approximately 3.20 carat, mounted in 18 karat gold.
Condition
All pieces in good condition. NECKLACE: the emerald is a lively, slightly bluish medium green (a deeper, richer color than pictured in the catalogue) and moderately included. The slightly cushion-shaped oval-cut emerald measures approximately 15 x 13.5 mm. The depth could not be measured due to the nature of the mounting, but assuming standard proportions were used, the emerald weighs roughly 10.00 carats. The diamonds are approximately H-I color, VS-SI clarity. Stamped 14K and Italy. EARRINGS: the emeralds are medium-deep green and heavily included, with some surface-reaching inclusions. The diamonds are approximately H-I color, SI clarity. Stamped 18K.
