Description

The square case applied with a cherry motif set with circular-cut rubies to the front and engraved similar motif to reverse, the clasp set with single-cut diamonds and circular-cut ruby terminals opening to reveal a mirrored single compartment, measurements approximately 65mm x 70mm x 10mm, numbered, French assay and maker's marks, fitted case by Boucheron, London 180 New Bond Street.

Condition

Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Indistinctly signed, maker's marks. Numbered 60312. Rubies of various saturations of colour, some with small nicks and cavities. Diamonds bright. Signs of tarnish, could benefit from a professional clean. Weight approximately 144 grams. Scratches consistent with wear. In very condition.
