PEARL, CULTURED PEARL. DIAMOND AND SYNTHETIC RUBY NECKLACE, EARLY 20TH CENTURY

Description

Designed as a graduated row of pearls measuring from approximately 3.3mm to 7.95mm , to a line of circular-cut diamonds suspending a cultured pearl drop, to a clasp set with a synthetic ruby between two circular-cut stones, length approximately 520mm.

Condition

Accompanied by a report from the University of Hamburg stating that the row of pearls were found to be natural saltwater pearls and the large drop was found to be cultured, and an x-ray of the necklace, pearl with cream body colour one larger pearl second from drop on right with large crack.
