Description
Centring on an oval sapphire to tapered shoulders pavé-set with single-cut diamonds, size L½, one small diamond deficient.
Condition
Shank has probably been remade. Sapphire a medium dark blue with moderately strong saturation of colour, chips to facet junctions, surface reaching fracture to one side, typical inclusions visible with magnification, measuring approximately 13.0mm x 9.5mm x 8.7mm, estimated to weigh approximately 9.0 - 10.0 carats. Diamonds lively, one small stone deficient and one rose-cut stone. Scratches to band consistent with wear. In overall good condition.
