Description
Comprising: a ruby and diamond half hoop ring, set to the front with five graduated oval rubies, highlighted with rose-cut diamond points and trefoils to a pierced gallery, size N; together with a diamond ring set with five graduated cushion-shaped and circular-cut stones, accented with rose-cut diamond points, size N ½.
Condition
Ruby Ring: Rubies a medium red with moderately strong saturation of colour, typical inclusions visible with magnification, abraded facet junctions, well matched in colour, Diamonds bright.
Diamond Ring: Central stone estimated to weigh approximately 1.02 carats, remaining stones estimated to weigh approximately 2.25 carats. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 3.20 - 3.50 carats, of mixed colours and clarities, difficult to accurately grade due to the yellow gold mount. Two diamond points deficient. Scratches to mount consistent with age and wear. Both rings in good condition.
