Description
Comprising: a bangle of two tone design channel-set to the front with a line of calibré-cut sapphires, inner circumference approximately 150mm, hinged opening mechanism, signed Hemmerle; together with a ring horizontally set to the centre with a cut-cornered step-cut sapphire stated to weigh 4.78 carats between shoulders set with graduated baguette diamonds to a two tone tapered band, size K ¼, signed Hemmerle.
Condition
Bangle: Stamped plat and 750 for platinum and 18 carat gold. Sapphires stated to weigh 16.12 carats in total, dark blue with moderately strong saturation of colour, well matched, typical inclusions visible with magnification. Scratches to mount consistent with wear, unusual hinged mechanism.
Ring: Sapphire weighing 4.78 carats, a medium blue with varied saturation of colour, typical banding inclusions. Diamonds bright, estimated clarity VS. Scratches to mount consistent with wear. Both pieces in good condition.
