Description

The gold and black silk brocade purse with a stylised palmette, foliate and geometric design, to a central plaque of Persian influence decorated with black enamel, the pyramid-shaped clasp with a tapered coral baton closure millegrain-set with rose-cut diamonds, opening to a black silk interior with a main compartment and side pocket, measurements approximately: length 235mm, width 145mm, depth 23mm to 40mm, interior signed Cartier made in France.

Condition

Overall in very good condition, one small rose-cut diamond deficient from one diamond cap on coral baton fastening, small traces of glue to each of the four rose-cut diamond studs on black enamel plaque only noticeable under magnification.
