Description
The rectangular cut-cornered case decorated with black enamel, to a carved jade thumb piece, highlighted with rose-cut diamonds, opening to reveal a bevelled mirror, two lidded compartments and a lipstick holder, measuring approximately 73mm x 39mm x 14mm, signed Cartier Paris, French assay and maker's marks.
Condition
Numbered 2577 to frame of inner compartment lid. Staining to reverse of mirror. Tarnishing and minor scratches to silver gilt, polished surfaces and inner compartments. Enamel in very good condition. In excellent condition.
