Description
The millegrain-set plaque of stylised lozenge shape, centring on a navette-shaped ruby, framed by a border of mixed-cut rubies and circular- and single-cut diamonds, suspending a pear-shaped diamond drop.
Condition
Rubies a medium slightly purplish (pinkish) red, well matched, principal ruby measuring approximately 12.5mm x 5.9mm x 3.5mm, weighing approximately 1.96 carats, typical inclusions visible with magnification, small nicks. Estimated total diamond weight approximately 1.60 - 1.80 carats, bright lively stones. Pear-shaped stone spreads at approximately 0.75 carats, estimated colour J/K, estimated clarity I1. Tarnished to reverse, could benefit from a professional clean. In very good condition.
