Description
Decorated to the front with a bee sitting on a cluster of flower heads, set with variously-shaped gemstones including emerald, ruby, turquoise, sapphire, seed pearl and diamond, opening to reveal a square dial applied with dot indicators, signed Boucheron, Paris and numbered, French assay marks, fitted case by Boucheron, Paris, 26 Place Vendòme, New York, 1 East 67th Street, 180, New Bond Street, London.
Condition
Stamped with French assay marks for 18 carat gold. Numbered 3.023. Manual movement running at time of cataloguing. Diamonds bright and lively, calibré-cut rubies well matched in colour some with nicks. Fly a late 19th Century jewel traces of solder to reverse, not visible when worn. Secure closing mechanism. Scratches to case consistent with age and wear. In good condition.
