représentant le Jugement de Pâris à décor doré sur fond vermillon ; dans un cadre en bois fruitier teinté orné de rosaces stylisées dans les angles ; avec une ancienne étiquette imprimée 495 ; (probablement un panneau destiné à l'origine à orner un meuble)
Condition
Overall condition is fine. Expected wear, more visible to the claret background ; possible light lifting on figures. Probably commissioned as ornement for a piece of furniture, now framed.

Catalogue Note
On connait un certain nombre de meubles réalisés en Russie ou en Allemagne à la fin du XVIIIe siècle incorporent des panneaux de verre églomisé. A Saint Petersbourg, Heinrich Gambs et Christian Meyer réalisèrent notamment des secrétaires à cylindre présentant des panneaux similaires (voir la vente du château de Groussay, le 2 juin 1999, lot s 387 et 398 et Sotheby's New York le 21 mai 2004, lot 111 : panneaux à fond bleu).
