- Height 21 2/3 in; width 10 1/3 in
avec un chinois et un enfant en porcelaine de Meissen devant un enmarchement en faux marbre et garde-corps flanqué de deux pots à plantes grasses ; surmonté d'un cadran à chiffres arabes dans un entourage de clochettes et passementerie, le dessus à décor d'un chinois jouant du tambour sous une pagode ; (petits manques de bronze et de porcelaine ; restauration)
Condition
The illustration is quite accurate. Unusual and attractive model, the giltbronzeis fine with wear to the flat surfaces ; the porcelain figures in good condition, the young child on top with a (baguette de bambou) missing.
The dial and the hand possibly later date.
Attractive object, typical composition of the objects which were made up by the marchands mercier during the 18th century.
