Condition
The illustration is too pale.
The veneer: fine with very minor elements missing, particularly between the drawers. Attractive grain of wood with a lot of contrast.
The parqueterie gives a warm and pretty aspect to this fine piece of furniture, which is extensively highlighted by the rich gilt bronze mounts.
The gilt bronze has wear in places.
The marble top is in fine condition. Some cracks in the bottoms of the drawers, which is normal for this kind of piece.
Overall good restored condition. Good model made by one of the most famous Regence ebonists. To recommend.
