Description

  • height 39 inches; width 29 1/2 in.
  • 99 cm; 75 cm
each with a later cartouche-shaped plate within molded borders, the top rail centered by a mask and carved all around with scrollwork, foliage and trelliswork, the lower rail fitted with later scrolling foliate candle branches.

Condition

The colors slightly brighter and more attractive than in the catalogue illustration. Wear to the top mirror plate of the left mirror, as visible from the catalogue illustration. The glass is otherwise in overall good condition with minor foxing. Some minor chips, rubbing and losses to the gilding. With the decorative scrolls of the one on the right restored. In otherwise very good condition.
