Condition

One long side of one dish has an area of restoration extending from the rim at one end of the shell down to and along the footrim and up to the rim at the other end, covering at least one large break; a haircrack, visible on the base but concealed by restoration on the upper side of the shell extends from the footrim halfway along the length, curves into the interior of the shell and runs up into the side at one end under the restoration. The other dish has an area of restoration extending from the rim at about the mid-point of one of the small shells, down to the footrim and up the side to about midway along the length of a large shell, covering several breaks and/or haircracks; a haircrack extends the entire length of the small shell on the opposite end, visible from the top edge at the center to the footrim and concealed beneath restoration from that point up the side to the rim edge. The restoration on both dishes is very well done and not readily apparent. There is a minor pinhead chip to the top edge of the bottom element of one support for the handle, another similar chip to the edge of the pierced opening for the handle's shaft (not visible when the handle is assembled) and a flat chip to the underside of the bottom edge of the support where it sits on the center of the dish. The bottom element of the other support has a minor 1/8-in. flat chip to the surface on the top of the support (not visible when the handle is assmbled). One finial has been broken in two pieces on one side and very well restored back with a residual 1/8-in. triangular loss to the edge. The other has been broken along the lower portion of the palmette device and very well restored back.
