Condition

Both vases have some minor occasional rubbing to the gilding on the upper rim edges around the foot of one and to the neoclassical bands. One vase has an approximate 2 1/2 inch area of restoration and re-gilt chips to the lower edge of the body where it is bolted to the stem. There are some minor chips and losses to the applied flower garlands. The vase with the restored chips also has a scratch and a small area of scratching to the body on one side that have been touched-up with gilding.
