Description

  • height 48 3/4 in.; width 31 3/4 in.; depth closed 16 1/2 in.; depth open 25 1/4 in.
  • 124 cm; 80.5 cm; 42 cm; 64 cm
the rectangular marble top above two glazed doors, three frieze drawers and a folding leather-lined writing surface, the lower section with a drawer raised on fluted tapered legs joined by a stretcher on toupie feet and casters.

Condition

Surface dirt and a small crack to the front right side of the marble top. Oxidation and tarnishing to the ormolu and brass mounts, with some slight dents and bending. Some of the brass mounts are loose. Age cracks and surface abrasions to the mahogany surfaces. Minor marks and a split along the fold of the leather fitted writing surface. Restorations to one of the feet.
