Silver-gilt pieces in good condition; white silver pieces with general wear from use, dinner knives tidied up with blades and joins in good serviceable state but some with engraving almost gone, about 5 with splits to handles but usable; overall extensive and impressive service

Catalogue Note
The original French flatware was extended by the Karlsruhe court goldsmith's workshops between 1828-35. Christian Friedrich Diemling held the appointment of Court Goldsmith from 1806-36.
