An ebonised quarter repeating table clock, Joseph Grey, Durham

8-inch dial with mask and leaf spandrels, calendar aperture to the matted centre, subsidiary dials in the arch for strike/silent and regulation, flanking a plaque signed Joseph Grey, Durham above an engraved shell, the similarly signed fusee movement with five knopped pillars, later anchor escapement with rise and fall regulation, repeating the quarters on six bells with a further hour bell, the backplate well engraved with foliate scrolls within a formal border, the inverted bell top case with a brass carrying handle 

Dial in generally good condition, minute and regulation hands replaced. Movement with later anchor escapement and in need of a clean. Case with cracked side glass, old scuffs, cracks and marks throughout and lacking feet. With pendulum and winder.
