A fine gilt-bronze and painted porcelain perpetual calendar mantel clock, French

3¾-inch two-piece enamel clock dial with visible Brocot escapement and signed Martin Baskett & Martin, Paris, the calendar dial below indicating month, date day of the week, equation of time and moon phase, the bell striking movement No.3899 linked to the calendar and operated by the striking train, the dials set within a foliate engraved gilt plate and flanked by four porcelain panels painted with winged putti depicting the four seasons amidst billowing clouds, the ornate case surmounted by ribbon-tied leaves and mounted with floral swags, the integral plinth  on gadrooned cushion feet 

Clock and calendar dials in good condition, day of the week hand is bent. Movement is complete and looks as though it would run but would benfit from a clean. Porcelain panels to case in good condition. Gilding is a little dusty but otherwise very good. With pendulum and a winder.
