each with a cartouche shaped padded back, above padded downscrolled arms and serpentine seat on cabriole legs, within moulded frame carved with flowers and leaves; decoration partially refreshed

Old minor marks, chips and scratches commensurate with age and as visible from photograph. Old minor restorations generally to top-rails. Joints sound and sturdy apart from one chair where there is a break at one of the joints on the top-rail which can easily be restored. There are construction cracks at the joints which can easily be filled or left and are quite normal with use. Difference in height - 2 higher than the others, with slight variations in measurements. One differs in the carving and patination on the underneath. In overall good condition.
