A pair of Chamberlain's Worcester blue-ground two-handled vases and covers circa 1845

of tapered hexaonal form, each well painted with a country view,  one showing Worcester in the distance, the other painted with an aquaduct crossing a valley, possibly Pontcysyllte, near Llangollen, within a surround of colourful flowers inside a a foliate gilt frame against a deep blue ground, the shoulders set with gilt dolphin handles (minor restoration)

The base of each vase has several fine haircracks radiating from the centre which have been sprayed over. There has been some re-gilding to each of the dolphins spines. Overall minor wear to gilding. Covers in good condition with some typical wear to edges.
