A pair of Italian carved giltwood and ebonised silvered metal and gilded iron wall lights, Neapolitan or Lucca late 18th/early 19th century

each with a flaming urn finial above three silvered metal scrolled candlearms above stylised feathers and a baluster vase issuing  two gilded iron scrolls each with two silvered metal candlearms  supported on the head of a satyr mask; some refreshment to painting and gilding

Old minor marks, pitting, dents and surface dirt to the candlenozzles and drip-pans which can easily be cleaned. Very attractive detail to carving. The piece is carved in several sections which slot onto an iron stem. The stem of one is around 6cm longer than the other and both have iron fixings to enable them to be attached to a support, which are not visible from the catalogue photograph. A highly unusual piece in overall good condition.
