Description
- each 96cm. high, 62cm. wide; 3ft. 1¾in., 2ft ½in.
each with a veneered verde antico top on a support carved with three addorsed Egyptian female caryatids with baskets on their heads and with drapery swags, on a stepped Sienna, nero and bianco marble base
Provenance
One of two identical pairs sold as lots 232 and 233, in these Rooms, 10th December 2003.
Condition
Old very minor marks and scratches and some surface dirt which can easily be cleaned off. Some old minor restorations to the plinth bases, especially the Sienna marble sections. An attractive lot in overall good condition.
