A French gilt-bronze-mounted flurospar vase 19th century

of ovoid form with a gadrooned body with a ram's mask handle on either side on an oval socle with a ribbon-tied berried laurel border; restored

The gilt-bronze is slightly dirty and has minor tarnishing and would benefit from a light clean according to taste. Some of the gilding is of a more pink tone in places. There are some old minor restorations to the flurospar with some very minor areas of infill. One side of the flurospar is more orange in colour than the other side. An attractive piece in overall good condition.
