each on a gilt-bonze beaded socle on a truncated plinth and square base

Condition

Excellent quality. Casting attractive mid-brown patina. Very miniscule chips to marble bases, but one of the busts (without cap) with an old repair at the rear, which has been well executed. Minor surface dirt on bases which can easily be cleaned off and minor rubbing to gilt-bronze. Very attractive pair in overall good condition.
