Description

the egg and dart bordered cornice supported by two brackets with fishscale motifs above a divided mirror plate flanked by guilloche pierced borders, above a marble topped console table with a frieze centered by an oval reserve enclosing a male reclining figure, flanked by stylised leaf motifs, with a rosace at each corner above square stop fluted tapering legs with acanthus leaf and egg and dart capitols and terminating in toupie feet

Condition

Table: The marble top is later and has some very minor chips. The decoration has been refreshed in parts. Very attractive detail to the carving, with some old very minor restorations, which have been very well executed and are hardly noticeable. In overall very good restored condition. Mirror: Some refreshment to painting and gilding. Very attractive detail to carved decoration. The cornice is possibly a later addition. In overall very good condition.
