A pair of Italian gilt-metal-mounted Murano glass chandeliers late 19th/early 20th Century

each with a corona mounted with gilt-metal flowerheads suspending coloured beads and amber square and rectangular coloured drops, the chains with roundels supporting a neo-classical vase-shaped reservoir issuing six scrolled gilded metal candlearms with later lobed glass drip-pans, with a faceted ball finial; formerly fitted for electricity

The gilt-metal is warped and bent in places, with some discolouration on the coronas. Some chips to the drops especially the amber coloured drops. Some replacements to the drops and beads. Now that the wiring and candleholders have been taken out, the drip-pans are not secure and need to be fixed. One drip-pan is now missing and will have to be replaced. There is evidence of previous drops below the drip-pans. In otherwise good condition.
