A pair of Swedish parcel-gilt and ebonised mahogany console tables and mirrors first quarter 19th century

each mirror with a concave cornice above a shield-shaped reserve carved with leaves above a rectangular divided plate, the apron with a stylised diaper motif, the console tables with bowed tops on scrolled volute supports with a solid backboard, on bracket feet

Mirrors: Parcel gilding refreshed. Some hairline cracks in the veneer commensurate with age and some minor splits as visible from the catalogue photograph but these can be left as they do not detract from the piece. There is a hairline crack across the cresting on both mirrors as visible from photograph. Console tables: Old minor marks, chips and scratches commensurate with age and one of the tops has some dents. There are some small hairline cracks generally, commensurate with age. There are construction cracks in the moulded border beneath the top, which can either be left or filled. Strengthened at the back. In otherwise good condition.
