A Meissen figure of a lutenist circa 1745

modelled by J.J Kändler or P. Reinecke, seated on a tree-stump, wearing a gilt-edged grey jacket, purple waistcoat and black breeches, on a flower and leaf encrusted base (12.5cm.); together with a figure of a cellist, wearing a grey hat with green bow, yellow shirt, purple waistcoat and breeches, on a scroll-edged base (11.5cm.); and a figure of a bassoon-player, 1763-74, wearing a white tricorn hat, a white and red striped waistcoat over a white shirt, a pale yellow apron and yellow breeches with blue ribbons, on a scroll-edged base applied with flowers and leaves (13.8cm.)

The lutenist with restoration to the left hand and neck of lute, the cellist with a replaced bow and restoration to left hand and one corner of hat, the bassoonist with restoration to top half of bassoon and cockade.
