the lower section fitted with a later secretaire drawer opening to an arrangement of pigeon holes above five small drawers. Restorations, case sides later.

Condition

Overall restored condition; case sides later; the upper-section with a metal bar to the underside of the drawer divider between the lower long drawer and the two middle short drawers; subsequently the long drawer lining has been cut down to accommodate the bar, veneer patch to each side at join with metal bar; bolt to one pin of one handle lacking; the lower section with a later secretaire drawer with a faux leather lined writing surface and the interior grained to simulate rosewood; the drawer dividers with later plywood panels; the backboard now with two later battens and with a replaced section to the back; the feet with some later blocks and with chips, losses and replacements to veneers; both sections with chips and losses to molded edges visible in the catalogue illustration; chips, losses, minor lifting and patches to veneers; overall with old marks, scratches, scuffs and bruises.
