Condition
Overall good restored condition; later chains; now fitted for electricity; please note each lantern is fitted with a wire which extends from the shade into the body of the lantern, and has been removed from the catalogue illustration;
The first lantern with small chips and flaking to the enamel of the shade especially around the base of the knop and to the lappets; one large glass panel lacking; areas of inpainting to the lattice and to the bandings; the molded base with cracquelure and inpainting with minor chips.
The second lantern with similar condition issues to the shade; rubbing and wear to the enamel of the lattice; some minor chips, cracquelure and inpainting to the molded base; one small circular glass panel loose but present.
