with floral carved crestings and cartouche backs with shaped aprons on chanelled cabriole legs

Condition

These are an attractive pair of chairs. They are generally in good condition. The upholstery is a little worn. Chair 1. There is some old worm damage throughout particularly to the top-rail and one front leg and some minor consequent losses to carving. Chair 2. There are cracks to the top-rail and old worm damage throughout particularly to the arms, uprights, back rails, one front leg and one back leg which has been partially spliced.
