Description

the pelter-shaped back headed by volutes and a shell motif, the crossbanded seat with a heavy reel-turned moulding joining the base of the back, on fluted, turned tapering legs headed by disc paterae

Condition

Good overall condition. Left hand side has a restored break. Seat has old stains and water marks. Very unusual design. Excellent colour and timber retaining very good patina. Minor general old marks, bruises and scratches, mainly to legs and mouldings.
