Description

  • Set of four: approx 8cm. by 6cm., pair: 4.5cm. by 5.5cm., 5cm. by 6.5cm, 5.5cm., by 6cm.: 3¼in., 2½in., 1¾in., 2¼in., 2in., 2½in., 2¼in., 2½in.
depicting two youths and two girls in a landscape setting, together with a pair of oval paintings depicting females wearing exotic hats within hardwood octagonal frames, and two similar rectangular paintings depicting a man in a hat in a giltwood frame and a female figure also wearing a hat in a landscape setting  (8)

Condition

All are in good general condition. The group of four with some very minor paint loss. The rectangular painting in the moulded frame has some scratches and minor paint loss. The painting in the shell carved frame has some minor losses to the carving. One painting in the octagonal frames is loose and will need to be re-attached to the frame. Some minor old marks.
