  • 13.5cm, 5 1/4 in diameter
with a cast frieze of Bacchic putti amongst scrolling grape vines, turned wood bases

Catalogue Note

These coasters are based on an earlier model that was probably designed by Thomas Stothard. An original set of six marked by Paul Storr, 1814-15, were supplied by Rundell's to the Lord Chamberlain's department for the Earl of Lonsdale and are engraved with the Royal arms.
