Catalogue Note
These coasters are based on an earlier model that was probably designed by Thomas Stothard. An original set of six marked by Paul Storr, 1814-15, were supplied by Rundell's to the Lord Chamberlain's department for the Earl of Lonsdale and are engraved with the Royal arms.
