plain rectangular, two caddies with detachable circular covers, one with a hinged cover, fitted red tortoiseshell case with silver-plated mounts, scroll handle a claw and ball feet, velvet lined interior, key

Condition

The caddies in overall good condition and well hallmarked on bases, bodies and covers. The case cover with filled age cracks around the top and with some replaced sections of tortoiseshell to front right and rear left corners. The body of the case with a small repaired chip on the front left corner. The tortoiseshell around the base on all four sides appears to have been replaced. Attractive piece.
