Description

  • 156cm. high, 194cm. wide, 24cm. deep; 5ft. 1½ in., 6ft. 4¼ in., 9½ in.
the moulded breakfront shelf with Blue John inlaid dentils, the frieze with Blue John blind fluting divided by a pair of carved paterae, the central tablet carved in high relief with a classical scene depicting a putto leading a male and female figure away from entrance of hell from which is emerging the three headed dog Cerberus,  the conformingly inlaid jambs further decorated with paterae and headed by stiff leaf capitals beneath urn-carved tablets, the aperture surrounded by Siena marble veneers
