Description

  • 25cm. high, 44.5cm. wide, 29cm. deep; 10in., 1ft. 5½in., 11½in.
the rectangular lid and sides deeply carved with flowers and foliage, with a drawer and late gilt-brass mounts, probably originally with silver mounts, now missing

Condition

Good general condition. Some old marks and chips consistent with age and use. Brass mounts later. Corners of lid plugged where original mounts fitted. Velvet lined interior rather faded and stained in places. Some minor age cracks in places particularly to the lid. Minor chips around the base.
