Description
the breakfront top inlaid with stringing, the bead-moulded frieze with a central drawer, on string-inlaid sabre front legs with ebonised fluting headed by inlaid geometric captials, the tapered square rear legs conformingly inlaid with stringing
Condition
Good overall condition. Repairs to the top crossbanding on the right side rear edge. Likewise, repairs to the left side of top. Minor age crack and warping to top. Repairs to inside of frieze drawer. Right rear leg with a filled gouge or knot hole. Old patching to the left hand side immediately above the central inner left hand leg. The runners of the drawer are slightly warped so that it tilts forward slightly. Some minor bruising to corners. General old marks and scratches. Good consistent colour and attractive proportions.
