- crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue
each of elaborate rococo form, applied with various attributes and painted with scenes of figures in landscapes, one emblematic of Spring, encrusted with flowering branches and applied on the foot with a putto holding a flower basket (35cm., 13¾in.), the other emblematic of Autumn encrusted with fruiting vines, applied on the foot with a putto holding a bunch of grapes in each hand (36.5cm.; 14½in.)
