  • crossed swords mark in underglaze-blue
  • 14.5cm., 5¾in.
modelled probably by J.J. Kaendler, perched on a tree stump, its plumage painted in yellow, puce, green and blue, the tree stump applied with leaves and flowers (some restoration)

Kaendler refers to several parrot-models in his Arbeitsberichte, none of which though can be identified with the present model. The modelling year of this parrot remains therefore only an assumption.
