Description

  • 173cm. high, 70cm. wide; 5ft. 8½in., 2ft. 4in.
the later plate surmounted by an arched pierced cresting carved with scrollls, flowers and leaves above two floral swags, the reeded sides entwined with flowers and leaves, above a similarly carved shaped apron

Condition

Gilding less greenish and more golden and attractive than in the catalogue photgraph. Some minor losses to carving, e.g. swag on the left hand side apron, as visible from photograph. Some minor retouching to gilding. Some hairline construction cracks at joints, as visible from photograph, which have been touched up with gilt paint. In overall good original condition.
