Description
- 138cm. high, 206cm. wide, 21cm. deep; 4ft. 6in., 6ft.8½in., 8¼in.
with an inverted breakfront top above a shaped frieze centred by a grotesque mask the pilasters carved with tasselled bellflowers
Condition
Colour slightly less pinkish and more natural and attractive than in the catalogue photograph. The mantlepiece is associated and is a slightly different colour to the rest. There are chips generally as visible from the photograph and also there are large chips along the rear edges of the top and sides where the piece has been inset into a wall. There is a vertical break in the top which will need restoring and it is visible just to the left and above the mask.
In need of some minor attention but in an attractive lot in otherwise good condition.
